What I like every end of the year is choosing my best cosmetics.
It will be subjective, especially for my dry skin problem.
But I hope it will encourage some brands, and help people with the same problem.
Below are my choices of 2024:
I skipped Decorte holiday collection for 2023 because I don't really amaze by it.
The last time I bought is from 2022 collection, Skin Beige Couture.
It is also not my favorite, because of the boring eyeshadow palette.
I almost don't use the glitter powder too.
But 2024 collection is a bit daring for me.
Eyeshadow palette is of course similar to 2022,
but I'd like the makeup pouch.
It got pretty flower, snow-like.
Sadly, I could not get the product myself because it's already past the order date.

Previously, I bought the Pastel Rose Scent in Akihabara Don Quijote.
Since I couldn't fly to Japan now, I purchased it online.
But I was lazy to wait for PO, so in the end, I bought the 2020 spring edition, Sakura Luce.

You can call me a fan of Cosme Decorte makeup coffret.
The reason is 2020 coffret is different than the others,
doesn't include my favorite blusher from Cosme Decorte and
because the shade is normal for me, I can find them anywhere.
The palette eyeshadow in it is not charming, similar with NARS palette.
Also, I'm not a fan of cream highlighter.
In 2019, my coffret came one day before I went to Japan
so I could bring them to its original country back after being shipped to mine. 😋
Such a unforgetable memories.
For this 2021 collection, I had to pre-order it since September 8th
even though the launched was at November 1st.
Korea Cosme Decorte also sold this coffret at the same time.
You won't find it anymore right now, maybe.
I had wrote about pre-ordering this coffret since my review of Barenbliss Fortune Cookie.

It was launched a few years ago, but I only bought it recently.
It's because I don't use powder often, so buying powder will be such a waste.

I owned Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder before, in menthol fragrance.
The best of this powder is it doesn't make my previous foundation cakey.
This is a light transparent powder that will blend smoothly to any foundation.
At first, I didn't care about the Mentos collaboration
because I thought it would smell the same.
But then, my sister told me it does have fragrance according to the fruits name.
So I picked this, Peach scented powder, and my sister chose "Melon".

The pearly pink case was what asking me to buy it.

It is not actually a skincare.
But it can be used to help the skincare we apply to absorb well.

If you purchase it this year, the set will not include Pure Lip Color sample.

Gyeol Goun is an old powder series from TONYMOLY.
It's my first time seeing this, and the formula intrigued me & my sister.
So we bought it together, using half-half of powder.
I'm not into matte powder because my skin becomes more dry as time goes.
But the formula swatch on skin makes me made a purchase outside my will.

For refference, I rarely use powder because my skin is very dry.
To put powder is simply to show my cracked skin cell.
I previously owned Canmake Concealer Foundation UV
I dislike the Concealer Foundation UV because it is too dry
and the color is too white for the entire face, it seems a fake skin.
But I love the Marshmallow Finish Powder for the soft & light weight.
Let's see if I will like the Airy Cover Fit Foundation or not.

This is a new powder from Canmake.
I thought it would be like Shiseido Maquillage,
where it can be used as a skincare powder at night.
But no, this powder just create a matte-finish skin after skincare,
without caring for the inside.
But since it is safe to put this after putting my night cream,
I don't have hesitation to try.

I went to Hong Kong & Macao for a week in November 2017
and found this special set.
and found this special set.
It contains the latest liquid foundation and mini loose powder from Kate.
Did you know that I was a bit disappointed at the Powderless Liquid?
Because it created dots after 3-4 hours, and I needed matching base for it.
Though it doesn't have any problem after that,
putting it after a base is a more work for me.

It comes with a mirror and a soft & fluffy puff.
The theme is sakura for this limited spring 2017 powder.

For reference, this is my first highlighter. I know, I've been using eyeshadow as my highlighter all these days. And when I went to Singapore, I bought many type of shading & highlight items. I still have KATE Slim Create Powder, Canmake Glow Fleur Cheeks, DAISO Mix Cheek Powder #3, DAISO Duo Color Cheek #Strawberry, etc which have shimmers. Well, I personally don't like shimmery finish except some kind of natural glittery eyeshadow. But I saw this MUJI Loose Powder Pressed Type in shade Lucent White on Youtube. So I decided to try this, although I was confused to choose either this powder or their Eyecolor in palette of 4. I realized I have too many eyeshadows, so I grabbed the Lucent White instead. If you saw Japankuru website and another post here by them, like I had suggested, then this SANA Maikohan already knowledgeable. This Maikohan brand was made by SANA. I've never tried the other SANA (Nameraka etc) makeup & skincare before, but I've been curious about Maikohan. The themes are about pink and maiko (an apprentice of geiko). Have a smooth, white skin like a maiko! Why not a geisha? Because maiko's age are between 15-20, so they still have teenager's skin. This is what the brand wants for us who used it, to have perfect skin in teens. I bought two Maikohan's base makeup, the Shitaji (Foundation) Base Makeup in shade #Sakura-iro -Pink Beige- (only one shade is available for now worldwide) and the Oshiroi Face Powder in shade #Sakura-iro -Sheer Pink-.

I'm back to Canmake! And another Revlon lip item. I heard many good reviews for Canmake Marshmallow Finish Powder. Japanese Vlogger often used this to topped their BB cream / foundation. Actually, I was a bit afraid if the shade would be too light for me and too dry, after purchasing the Concealer Foundation UV. But since many like it, I'd be happy to try another Canmake powder. As for Revlon, I bought it so I could receive free delivery from online shop.

Finally I got Kiss Me Heroine Make here in Indonesia! I've been waiting at Guardian Central Park for more than a month, but no result except the logo. And after coming to the new mall from Japan, Aeon Mall, I found this brand! Together with Kiss Me Heavy Rotation, Isehan's famous brands are now available in Indonesia. I'm glad more and more Japanese drugstore cosmetic comes here after I worked and went in makeup world. If they came when I was in high school, I would have trouble collecting money and I didn't have interest in makeup.
