by - 10/03/2015 01:05:00 AM

I'm back with the review from my DAISO haul in the previous post. I can't try everything at the moment, so I chose what I'm interested at. I have chosen Ellefar Glitter Eyeshadow in shade #E Coral variation, Mix Cheek Powder #2 Magic Color, Ever bilena Stick Foundation #Ochre, and Brilliant Lip Gloss #Shine Cherry with Light. All were bought from DAISO Singapore with $2 price for each item. It's a cheap products, but I'm sure I like them all. To see more of this items, read this post.

I forgot to put the Ever bilena stick foundation in this group picture because I have opened these three packagings before deciding to try Ever bilena.

01. Ever bilena Stick Foundation #Ochre

Actually, it's my first time trying a stick foundation. I was afraid if this foundation would be dry and give patches on my face. The golden text after UV effect component is moisture ingredients. But I don't know what kind of UV protection it has.

I've watched Youtube videos using this product, but I was still afraid if this would give dry result on my skin because I've read that stick foundation tend to give dry finishing. How to open is like opening a lipstick.

After opening its plastic packaging, the tube will be all in black without many texts. I have mixed feelings for this tube. The classic black and the written name of Ever bilena are quite good. But meanwhile, it looks like cheap plastic. What do you expect from a $2 cosmetic packaging?

The shade I bought is Ochre. Just found two shades for this foundation, Ochre for fair skintone and Normal for yellowish skintone. But DAISO SG wrote this shade as Ecru.

How the stick looks like. It have this considerable amount of product. The stick is quite sturdy, it won't melted.

I've watched a tutorial using a sponge for application. So I thought I'd try it. But the coverage would be very low, so I tried using my finger. And it works well with fingers. And what I'm very surprised is the finish result! It does too yellow for my skin, but I can cover it with powder, right? But the special thing for me is the matte finish, but not drying. My skin became hydrated enough, even without using a makeup base. Quite shiny under lightning. For me, the coverage is medium by working with fingers. But beware for oily skin. I think it will be melting on heat, though I'm not sure.

Can cover my black acne marks and redness around nose. You'll see that the shade Ochre is yellow compared to my neck, even though it's supposed to work for fair skin. How natural Japanese base makeup are. But I like the finish result. It's very natural without over shiny. I can feel it's a bit matte on my hands, but there are shines around nose, cheeks, and forehead.

02. Mix Cheek Powder #2 Magic Color

There are four shades in the plastic box. Two glittery shades and two matte shades. The packaging is quite magical with purple ribbon, huh?

If you see my previous post, there are two shades I bought. Shade #2 Magic Color and #3 Cute Color. The no.2 is a mixed pink and purple shade, with coral matte powder.

Doesn't have brush and mirror.

It can be mixed for all shades but also can be used for one or two shades as I want. No.1 & 2 shades are glittery, while 3 & 4 powders are matte. I'd like to try using just 2 colors matte & glitter for no.3 & 1 on top or 4 & 2 on top. It will be cute, right?

This is the result for all colors mixed by brush. The shade is a bit purple-ish coral pink and glittery. A cute color for dolly look. I think I like the matte type more.

03. Ellefar Glitter Eyeshadow #E Coral

I chose a natural color for everyday look. I don't know why the accent color looks like purple-ish grey here. But it's actually a dark brown. There are more palettes to try. I think there are 3 at DAISO Vivo City Mall.

There's only one applicator. I can use finger for shade 1,2,3 though, or another brush. Use it based on the direction at the packaging. Or choose any color you'd like. But for this review purpose, I tried using all colors.

After applying, I can feel that the eyeshadow colors are dry, especially the white color. But even though it's dry, I don't dislike it as much as Canmake Four Shiny Eyes. It didn't left many fallouts on my cheeks too and could stick well on my eyes without primer. I like the color no.3 & 4. The accent color no.5 is also not too dark to fit my daily needs. All colors are very pigmented, especially white. With 2-3 swatches, it can be used on my waterline, while for another eyeshadows, it will take more swatch.

See? I think the pink is very pretty. The coral doesn't look too appealing, but still natural. And shade no.4 is good for golden brown eyeshadow. Sorry that I practiced using my finger for white color. It's a little messy there. I should work with a lining brush.

04. Brilliant Lip Gloss #Shine Cherry with Light

Can you read the main attraction from this lipgloss? It has mirror behind the Bright Light Lipgloss text. But not only that. When I opened its cap, it has light! It's perfect if you want to do touch up in dark place. But due to white-blue LED lightning, it won't reflect perfect color. Well, it's still good for clean application, right?

I told you. There is lightning!

I chose Shine Cherry because I've watched in the video that the pigmentation was very sheer. If I chose light color, it wouldn't be noticeable on my lips. My sister chose the lighter pink, Baby Pink, of course. And I will try it too later.

The swatch on hand. Pretty cherry pink color. It has shimmer a bit, but not obvious on lips.

Doesn't it give natural finish? It's not too much red. I like this lipgloss because it's not sticky and very light. Compared to Canmake Candy Wrap Lip, this one is lighter. I feel I didn't put anything. But of course due to that reason, the color will disappear easily.

Overall, Brilliant Lip Gloss is quite fun and it also has good result. It doesn't give dry effect on my lips too. I think it'll be good to choose a darker color for better pigmentation.

These four products from DAISO Singapore that I've tried are satisfying. I still have more to review, and hoping it will be as great as these too. I think Singapore is one of other country than Japan itself that sells latest cosmetics from there. I know that the price will be much higher compared to things I've bought here, but in Indonesia, everything are so late. I should prepare for my next trip if I want the latest product from Japan, then. I know these are made in China and Taiwan. But it's under DAISO Japan, so I'm relieved. They have prestige, so they won't make dangerous things. But some of my sister's figure arts are also made in China, even though they're from famous company. DAISO SG also sells foods and drinks. Very complete than here.

I put too much blusher for review purposes. But even though I kept taking a little amount of color, the blusher is very pigmented, especially the matte colors. It's still give bold colors. I'll try to add generous amount for daily use.

I'm so shame about the smoke. Even the owner from noodles shop we ordered in SG was asking about it to my sister. He was asking if Jakarta got the smoke also. Maybe he thought it would be balanced if we got the same trouble. But we're not getting the smoke. I shouldn't blabbering about Indonesia's weakness here, but everyone are already knows that. So, don't tell me this and that about loving Indonesia. I don't love living here, especially for the corruption and environment. When will we change? I'm not sure, but it'll take another hundred years for better mindset.

I've tried using brush liner to create plump eyes with white eyeshadow from Ellefar. It's more appropriate now. And the Mix Cheek will begin to mix into my skin, makes it more natural.
