Maquillage is a famous makeup brand from Shiseido.

It is mostly sold in Japan exclusively, hard to find overseas.

The most famous item from Maquillage is the compact powder, Snow Beauty.

But the fast application eyeshadow is a trend now in Japan,

so I chose this over powder.

I picked BE233 Caramel Milk Tea.

From researching, born the brown eyeshadow that appears like own eyes.

Fit to eyes and make it bigger.

Anyone can create a professional gradation

Since Caramel Milk Tea sounds delicious to me, I chose it.

Sorry, I didn't chose base on color but taste.😁

I was also interested with RD332, but chose BE233 instead.

Basically, you can put the highlight base color on whole eyelid.

Then using brush, create gradation from the right palette (two colors).

Put the bottom color as highlighter / eyeliner according to palette.

BE233 have highlight white glitter color, so I use it on undereyes.

Maquillage compact case is always beautiful.
For Dramatic Styling Eyes S, the case is mirror-like with tiny square patterns.
The front mirror-like case reflects light and very pretty.

It is rare to see the back of cosmetic box with colored picture.


The case looks like jewellery.

There are two brushes.
The bigger brush is to apply the quick style point colors.
There are two of them, the beige and caramel brown can be swiped with that brush.
The dual edges small brush is to apply individual color.
Apart from the quick applying method,
I can also use it as a normal eyeshadow by picking beige color first.
The brushes are soft and doesn't hurt my lid.
 Have large mirror and it is very useful to bring on travelling.



The eyeshadow doesn't create fallout.
But compared to Sofina Aube Brush Hitonuri Shadow #SC-01 & #561,
Maquillage have drier powder particle but still easy to swipe it with brush.
The powder is finely milled so it won't show dry skin area.
They are smoothly applied too.


Under room light.

Indoor under sun light.

But I don't like the white highlight color.
It is hard to be picked and doesn't show much glowing effect on undereyes.
Despite the white, the pink-beige cream color is smoother and create glittery base.
The cream is easy to swipe and very light.

Using quick method to apply point color.

Staying power is quite strong.
Similar to the other Japanese eyeshadow, the Maquillage stays good.
I can feel that the color is made for every eyes.
True to the description, it will fit the natural color of eyes.
Caramel Milk Tea has yellow-ish brown theme.
But it still suit my skintone very well.
It doesn't look too yellow so the color fit to skin.
The glitter is very small so they are unnoticeable.

For this picture, I didn't swipe the one edge brush on color 3 & 4.
I used normal method of using eyeshadow with dual chips.
The color is more pigmented.

Though if I must compare with Aube, I think I like Aube more.
That's because Aube creates feminine color,
while Maquillage have strong and pigmented vibe.
Aube is lighter in term of powder weight.
But I like both of them too.
Nowadays, I would prefer faster application for working days.
And this kind of eyeshadow is very helpful for career woman
