Actually, I already have many eyebrow pencils.
But I'm still searching for a substitute for my favorite Colorgram.
Although I like Colorgram very much, I still need to try other product.
So far, I'm not satisfied with Etude Drawing Eyebrow ever since the first product I tried.
Let's see about The SAEM.
Product Description:
I always chose lighter shade now for my eyebrow.
My natural hair color is not deep black, so it will suit an ashy tone of brown,
a lighter shade of brown, instead of the boring Natural Brown.
And nowadays, I would prefer pencil type to fill in sparse eyebrow.
In the past, I like to use a tint / pen type though.
The pencil case itself is quite normal, in dark grey color.
And the main color is brown but have a bit of greyish tone.
The shape is triangular.

The SAEM pencil is easy to use.
Easier than Etude Drawing Eyebrow.
I like The SAEM more.
And the pencil is also sturdier than Etude.
The color pigment is not as bold as Etude too.
But to compare it with Colorgram, Colorgram pencil is still smoother.
It can glide more easily on skin!
I like to draw different eyebrow shape according to my mood and makeup theme.
When I want it bold, I will draw it in high arc (the left picture below).
But usually, I would draw them straight?
The quickest and easiest way.
This pencil helps to draw different kind of shape easily and still look natural.
This ash brown is suitable for my hair color, isn't it?
After watching Okaeri Mone, I want to have longer bangs now, like Mone.
Don't know why...
I always look at people for styling my bangs.
When I like watching Korean drama, I cut it like the female lead would.
And when I watch Kiyohara Kaya in Okaeri Mone have became an adult,
I wanted to look like that.
I can't say much for staying power.
My skin is dry and I never have any problem with eyebrow pencil's staying power.
The SAEM is quite good and I would choose it instead of Etude.
Still, I can't move my favorite Colorgram from my eyebrow tools list.
MY THOUGHTS OF THE SAEM SAEMMUL ARTLOOK EYEBROW #06 ASH BROWN:
+ Easy to draw thinly on thick eyebrows.
+ Glides smoothly on skin.
+ Doesn't melt easily on dry skin.
+ A lighter brown that will be suitable for Asian hair, not too red.
+ Doesn't feel dry while drawing and won't stuck / clump on skin (see Etude Drawing Eyebrow Proof Gel Pencil as bad example).
+ Price is normal, not too expensive but not as cheap as Etude.
+ The pencil is sturdy so I don't need to worry it would break.

Thanks! I appreciate your blog post. Now I feel more confident buying an ash brown, too. And a light brown as well because they’re so cheap now.
