The Hanbok Edition is actually from 2020 set, but I still can't get enough of this.
The price is cheaper now and I'm interested in purple eyeshadow.
That's why I chose Dry Violet rather than Dry Willow Flower.
A palette of four, mix between matte and glitter.
Perfectly conceals fine lines on the eyes.
Refined matte eyeshadows creates smooth finish without cracking.
Its opal pearl glitter creates a galaxy-like, sparkling makeup look
which highly adheres on the skin.
Inspired by the harmony of hanbok, which consists of Korean beauty, harmony,
luster, color, and lines, which show their beauty only when they are gathered
in the simplicity that does not intrude on each other.
As if dried in the sun and faded once more.
The fine formula cleans the eye area and keeps it as it is the first time without crease.
The clear and bright Vaseline glitter that makes the accumulated shades stand out
more perfectly completes the makeup.
N01 Dry Willow Flower : marbly, chocolatey, and soft warm beiges.
N02 Dry Violet : glistening, shadowy, and serene cool purples.
Using a moist fitting system, it is gently blended without clumping even by hand.
The fine particles hold the oil well, leaving the first makeup intact without crease.
Ultra fine particle shadow that was not in this world.
It is a wet molding method of glitter, and the oil component is evenly distributed
in the powder and has good adhesion, so it maintains its transparency
and briliance without fluttering or wrinkling over time.
It adds synergy by adding clear brilliance to subtle shades.
Ingredients:
And let's go to the actual product.
As usual from Hanbok edition, the packaging is very simple yet elegant.
Three mattes and one glitter type.
Sadly, does not include brush and mirror.
No scent.
Swatches.
They all look very cool-toned!
Even the glittery shade is also cool.
And if I use finger to put it, the soft purple shade (the upper right) will be very dark!
A lot of surprise since it will resemble brown more than purple,
even without putting the darkest shade.
Rather than violet, I think they are more like plum.
Because the colors are too brown-ish.
The violet might refer to the glitter shade.
I'd prefer using the glitter shade on top.
The glitter will make plum color lighter and add youthfull.
If I only use matte colors, the gradation will be dark.
The above picture, on the right (with brown knit clothes), is when I put only matte shades.
I used my finger and the color pop out more than using brush.
But I will choose to add glitter color since it is not too weird for daily use.
The glitter is thankfully small, it won't create much fallout and won't show too much.
I mostly dislike the glitter in Korean eyeshadow because they are too showy.
Japanese glitters are softer and smaller, suitable for natural shine.
But Korean glitters are too much for daily wear, more suitable for night date?
Though in Romand, I found the glitter is more wearable.
Staying power is good for my dry skin.
The powder is soft to touch, not different than any other Korean matte eyeshadow.
And the glitter is not too rough, so it will stick well.
It might be become my Korean daily to use eyeshadow?
I don't know, but I like this type of matte shades for Korean eyeshadow,
rather than their big glitters.
The price is also cheaper now, because it was launched last year.
There are more palette shades, if not for the limited edition.
MY THOUGHTS OF ROMAN HANBOK EDITION BETTER THAN EYES #N02 DRY VIOLET:
+ Cheap price.
+ Easy to wear matte eyeshadows with small glitter.
+ The glitter won't create fallout.
+ Long staying power.
+ Soft to touch and the glitter is not rough.
+ Four colors in one palette, easy to create daily gradation.
+ Become more pigmented using finger than brush.
- Does not include brush and mirror.
- The matte texture is the same as many brands, too normal.
