I couldn't resist to buy the PAUL & JOE Beaute's cute products
since there was a buy 1 get 1 campaign.
Well, I wouldn't buy too many expensive things, but they sold its latest summer product too.
So why not trying it?
The Eye Gloss S is not a new product, comes in spring 2015,
but I'm interested in liquid eyeshadow.
The 2017 trend eyeshadow is liquid and shiny.

Let's talk about packaging.
The box is very pink-ish and kawaii!
No.02 Firmament is a blue color like its name, a structure above the atmosphere.
Meanwhile, no.03 Tenshi no Hane is a purple-ish pink color.
Mine and my sister's eyes went straight at no.02 & 03 because they were very cute.
Shades available:
- 01 Secret D'or - A graceful silvery gold.
- 02 Firmament - A pretty pale blue with a hint of silver.
- 03 Angels Wings - A pearlescent pink with purple shimmer.
- 04 Creme Brulee - Silver, gold and beige tones combine for a rich caramel shade.
- 05 Antique Coin - This opulent orange hue is reminiscent of a spring sunset.
The tube's cap consists of white chrysanthemum embroidery symbol.
On top of the cap, there's PJ icon in italic.
The applicator brush is very thin.
It is hard to have a firm grip of the mousse liquid inside with this brush.
But texture can be spread with finger.
Inside the tube, it is mousse-like texture.
But on skin, it will be hard, sheer glittery sparkling like a metal.
Stays hard for long without smudging or melting!

EYE GLOSS S #02 FIRMAMENT
It is called a pale blue with a hint of silver.
Like its name, Firmament shows a sparkling blue atmosphere in the sky.
It is a very soft blue, almost similar to Integrate Beauty Make Book #10's blue.
But Eye Gloss S is more pigmented than Integrate,
even though it is also considered sheer.

I couldn't stop admiring this color at the SOGO sale counter.
In the end, I bought this together with no.03 as a bonus.
It is sheer, but also vivid.
Don't afraid to use this blue.

EYE GLOSS S #03 TENSHI NO HANE
Tenshi no Hane means Angel's Wing.
It is a mixed between pink and purple.
Reminded me of a soft fluffy purple-ish wing.
Together with blue, me and my sister straightly picked this one.
Well, a bit confused with #05, which is orange-y coral pink too!
But in the end, this purple wins...
The color is similar to KATE Dark Night Glow #PU-1's purple "medium color".
This one has bigger glitter.
If you need more sparkling purple color for party,

STAYING POWER
Look at the staying power for no.03 below.
After 9 hours working, it doesn't smudge on my dry skin eyelids.
When the pencil gel eyeliner from BCL Brow Lash EX already smudged,
the eyeshadow reminds firm.
This is because the texture turns to a hard glittery metal,
similar to Integrate Water Balm Shadow.

While the eyeshadow didn't create any obvious crease line!
I only put my Pigeon powder on top of Paul & Joe Moisturizing Foundation Primer S.
I don't know for oily skin though.
It might not stay for longer than mine.
Make sure to put eye primer for better pigmentation.
But since I mostly use it at work, I don't need eye primer.
Both Eye Gloss mixed :
I put 03 on the whole upper & lower eyelid. While 02 blue color is only to create winged liner on upper crease. Smudged a bit for natural gradation.

MY THOUGHTS FOR PAUL & JOE BEAUTE EYE GLOSS S:
+ Doesn't emphasize dry area on eyes.
+ Sheer but vivid color, the same as its tube.
+ Long wearing on dry skin.
+ Doesn't have scent and doesn't irritate my skin.
+ Can be used as a base or alone, or as topping glitters.
+ The blue isn't showy, it is more soft.
+ The applicator brush can be used to swipe on thin under eyelid.
+ Travel friendly as it is very light & the tube is thin. Easy to use.

- Expensive but I'm sure it will last for long time.
- Some reviews said it was not suitable for oily skin.
- Sometimes, a liquid eyeshadow might be hard to control since it dries quickly.
