Innisfree Mineral Single Shadow Matt #01 Windblown Apricot Blossoms, #03 Soft Cashmere, #07 Affogato Brown
Innisfree Mineral Single Shadow comes in a range of basic colors and a variety of different textures.
Mine is a matte type.
I chose #01 Windblown Apricot Blossoms and #03 Soft Cashmere.
But then, a few weeks later, I had the urge to try a dark brown color #07 Affogato Brown too.
But then, a few weeks later, I had the urge to try a dark brown color #07 Affogato Brown too.
Soft Cashmere & Affogato Brown were used by Yoo Na in The K2 drama, so I picked the same color.
The matte eyeshadow is a non-pearlescent shadow formulated with a fine, soft compressed silky-textured powder.
It is perfect to add natural definition to the eyes and use as a base in the first step of eyeshadow makeup.
They are rich in color and its silky texture glides on the eyes and add stay-true color in a single sweep which lasts for a long time.

IRON OXIDES (CI 77499), TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, MINERAL SALTS
This pink-apricot color is perfect for sweet and natural makeup look.
The texture is very soft and silky, buttery, even though it is a powder.
Doesn't have different in texture from #03 Soft Cashmere.
When I thought a soft matte color would be very sheer without color at all,
this eyeshadow removed it all.
The pink-apricot shade can be very visible from 3 swipes.
The texture is very soft and doesn't give fallout.
Stays long for the entire office 8+ hrs.
I think this color makes me look feminine, girly, and sweet.
Also suitable for spring look or can be used as a base for pink-base eyeshadow.
Mineral Single Shadow #03 Soft Cashmere

Soft Cashmere is a soft / pastel beige color.
It has a hint of apricot too, because it is warm tone.
Texture is similar to #01 Windblown Apricot Blossoms, silky and soft.
It also came from matte variant, so doesn't have glitter at all.
This color represents natural look and just like your own skin.
When I used this on top of light base makeup, it creates a natural no-makeup look.
The Soft Cashmere is like my own skin color near eyes.
It is also good to be a base eyeshadow because the color doesn't show too much.
But even though it is soft, the beige color can still be visible as a natural skin around eyes.
This is the color chosen by Yoo Na's makeup artist for The K2 as base & main color.
Mineral Single Shadow #07 Affogato Brown
Ingredients:
MICA (CI 77019), TALC, NYLON-12, BORON NITRIDE, IRON OXIDES (CI 77492), IRON OXIDES (CI 77499), IRON OXIDES (CI 77491), VINYL DIMETHICONE/METHICONE SILSESQUIOXANE CROSSPOLYMER, HEXYL LAURATE, DIISOSTEARYL MALATE, PHENYL TRIMETHICONE, OCTYLDODECYL STEAROYL STEARATE, DIPENTAERYTHRITYL HEXAHYDROXYSTEARATE/HEXASTEARATE/HEXAROSINATE, DIMETHICONE, ISOSTEARYL NEOPENTANOATE, HYDROGEN DIMETHICONE, MINERAL SALTS, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, HYDROGENATED LECITHIN
The Affogato Brown is a dark brown color without red hint.
It is suitable for deeper color on the outer corner of eyelid.
The name Affogato is derived from a type of coffee with cream.
It is a dark coffee so the color suits its darkness, topped by a cream so it won't be too black.
I think the darkest one is no.5, Nutty Almond.
This one, I only put Affogato Brown alone. It is soft, a bit red-ish here but the real picture is like the photo below.
Can you see the place where I put Affogato Brown? I put Affogato Brown after putting the Windblown Apricot on the entire lid.
I created a gradation on the inner and outer corner of my eyelids, below #01 apricot color.
Created a very soft gradation. Even though the color is dark.
And easy to spread with a brush too.
Below is the picture using #01 on whole lid and #07 on the outer & inner corner of eyecreases.
Remember I have cut my hair short? Does pink suit me?
After knowing the quality of Innisfree eyeshadow,
I will keep on buying their product.
Maybe I'll try the glittery version one day.
Actually, I really want to buy the glitter type no.11 but it hasn't come here.
I wonder if Innisfree will launch a fixed eyeshadow palette rather than Jeju Color Picker series which is limited.

So far, this is a good quality brand with affordable price!
MY THOUGHTS FOR INNISFREE MINERAL SINGLE SHADOW MATT:
+ Silky finish without fallout.
+ Very soft and spread smoothly on lid.
+ Doesn't smudge for whole day.
+ Cheap, only Rp 75k here.
+ Creates a healthy & natural look on eyes.
+ Doesn't irritate skin.
+ Can be used as a base color or for whole eyelid to create natural eyes.
+ Skin fit without emphasize crack.
+ Most matte colors are natural brown-beige-pink.
- It doesn't have brush. That's why I prefer palette eyeshadow.
- I need more color variation, example: khaki or soft blue. But I know Korean people doesn't like blue / green. Wink to Kose Esprique.

Thanks for writing the eye shadows reviews for Innisfree, The Face Shop and Canmake. I was having trouble in deciding which of these are best for me to try out as a beginner >__< Btw, does anyone tell you this? You look like Masaki Sato from Morning Musume '17 ;D
ReplyDeleteOh my, I never heard of her before. Somehow, someone in real life told me I look like Seohyun from SNSD (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧ I didn't dare comparing myself with famous people. Thank you <(_ _)>
DeleteWell, for beginners, a palette eyeshadow from Canmake is good to mix and match according to its "how to use". By studying more, you can choose your own style. But since usual Japanese eyeshadow have glitters, it depends on you to choose for what occassion. Overall even though Canmake has glitters, it doesn't come out too flattery and perfect for everyday use, if you don't mind a little sparkle. I'd recommend Perfect Multi Eyes (can be used for eyebrows too) or Perfect Stylist Eyes in latest color from no.7-16 (old colors have different texture).
Meanwhile, Korean single eyeshadow have many variations, from glittery to matte. But I think you can only afford 2-3 single eyeshadows in match with one palette from Canmake price. It depends on the needs too.
Now that you mention, you do look like Seohyun too~ so nice..I'm envious~ XD
DeleteOkay, I think I will try out the Canmake Perfect Multi Eyes because I really like the natural makeup look. For the Perfect Stylist Eyes, are the old ones (no.2-5) aren't as good compared to the new ones?
No, it's just that my face will be different in every picture, I'm not photogenic ^ ^!
DeleteThe old Perfect Stylist Eyes have powdery finish. The new ones are smoother especially if you use finger, the finish is similar to Secret Color Eyes. But if you like the color, it won't be a problem since the finish still looks natural. Not a big changes though.
You're so down to earth ;D
DeleteThank you so much for the recommendation and opinion! (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
I'm glad that I found this awesome blog of yours~ arigatou \(´꒳`)/
Thank you very much. I'll do my best to write more.
