My 5th Japan Trip June 22-29, 2026

by - 7/01/2026 07:28:00 PM

This story is about my 5th Japan Trip.
The flight was departed on June 21.
But I arrived at June 22 in Japan, Haneda again.
I only stayed in Tokyo because this is summer!
Didn't plan to go to other city as it would be hot & humid.
I went with my mom and younger sister again, for the 5th time.

Day 1 June 22, 2026

Since this is day one, I didn't go to many places, because I only slept for 3 hours.
I went inside Haneda Airport Garden, bought Refa hair brush, then go to our hotel,
Akihabara Washington Hotel, for twice.
I stayed there last autumn and had a chance to stay again this time.
Since the hotel is near Akihabara atre 1, after checking-in and all,
we went to eat dinner.
I forgot where to eat dinner, though, forgive me.

Day 2 June 23, 2026

Day 2 is for Ikebukuro.
It was an hour from Akihabara, so we quickly got up and went to Ikebukuro station.
There, we got on another train to Toshimaen Station.
It was like a rural place, for The Making of Harry Potter site.
 Spent three hours there.
I mostly had forgotten about Harry Potter and his enemy, so I didn't have many impression there.
I only watched a few of its movies too.

The staff took our picture.

Near Toshimaen station, there were hydrangeas / ajisai, and we took many photos there.
In the Backlot Cafe area, we ordered burger and steak.
It took my money about more than 6,000yen!
But quiet worth the taste for its charcoal burger and butterbeer.
Anyway, we took so many photos again inside the making tour.

It was around 1 PM, that the three of us left Harry Potter area, went to Ikebukuro again.
We ate another lunch in famous unagi restaurant, Izumo.
I finished my second lunch, the buttery unagi.
It was very delicious and taste buttery.
But not for my mom and sister.
They put it inside a box to bring it back home.
Thankfully, the staffs were pretty used to takeout the unagi and rice leftover.

Izumo unagi is so large.

Then, we went to Sunshine City Ikebukuro mall.
My sister bought a bag from Samantha Vega there.
She was very delightful and satisfied by going there.
Sunshine City and Shibuya 109 are her favorite malls in Japan by the way.
Because it holds many cute lolita designed clothes and bags.
Yeah, it is her taste.
I don't like lolita outfit at all.
For dinner, we went back to Akihabara and buy food from convenience store.
Since we had luxurious lunch twice, we didn't have money for another dinner.

Day 3 June 24, 2026

Today is Kamakura day!
We went in the not so morning and our first destination is Komachi-dori.
It is a street food area.
I bought menchi katsu there, and matcha ice cream.
Thankfully, it was not raining the day we went there.

The next destination is going by enoden to Hasedera Temple, to see more ajisai.
The ticket price is around 400yen for the gate.
And then 500 yen for hydrangea path inside the temple.
My mother stayed inside its garden only, while I and my sister went to hydrangea path.
The only place to take a picture is by the stairs.
There were so many stairs and it was very steep on the hill.
We could see Enoshima island there.
I actually wanted to go to Meigetsu-in instead.
But Hasedera is the nearest from Kamakura station.
The two of us only took 15minutes inside the hydrangea path.

My face screamed "I'm afraid of height"!

After taking a rest from going up the hill, we decided to go to Kotoku-in Temple.
I forgot how much for the ticket price, but it was around 300 yen maybe.
Kotoku-in is famous for its Great Buddha.
We took only 15 minutes inside to take pictures and all.
After that, we went back to Komachi-dori and bought souvenirs.
Then, we went to Akihabara again.

This time, my sister suggested to eat dinner at Sushiro Akihabara.
We spent around 10,000yen just to achieve Zenless Zone Zero's figurines.
I was so shocked to see the receipt.

Day 4 June 25, 2026

 June 25, 2026 was raining.
Not as big as I would thought.
This morning, there was an earthquake near Aomori, Iwate.
A big earthquake, but it's a bit far.
The morning was spent by going to Togo Jinja in Harajuku to buy omamori.
Togo Jinja is famous for its Sanrio's health mori.
I bought a few omamoris there, for health, money, work etc.
The place was near Takeshita Street Harajuku.
We couldn't take any picture there since it's prohibited.

Omamori at Togo Shrine.

After that, we went to Tokyu Plaza Harajuku for purchasing Chiikawa Bakery.
Since it was raining a lot, we ate in the Starbucks (of course we purchased the Peach & Peach
Milk Frappuccino there too) from our Chiikawa Bakery for lunch.
After eating, we went to @cosme Harajuku to buy my favorite lipstick from Decorte.
It was all in the rain.

Then, we went a bit more to Shibuya 109.
My sister bought two Amavel's lolita costumes.
It was meh for me.
But she didn't take a long time, maybe 30 minutes.
Then, we ate lunch inside Shibuya 109, the cheese pasta from Cheese to Hachimitsu.
That was the second time we ate there.
By adding 550 yen more, we got salad, dessert, and drinks too.

The dinner was another convenience store again.
It was raining all day long.
But my sister suggested to go to GU Okachimachi.
We spent an hour there until 9 PM, and went to Ameyoko at night.
We went back through Ueno station and arrived at the hotel at 10PM.

Saw Tongari Boushi no Atelier ads in Akihabara Station to Okachimachi.

Day 5 June 26, 2026

The news for tomorrow is a double typhoon incoming Tokyo for 27th & 28th.
It's still raining and there was more earthquakes.
But since we're outside, we didn't feel as much as the yesterday's morning.
This morning, we ate lunch at Komeda's Coffee.
We purchased its signature blend coffee, cream soda, Komeda's chicken,
the famous mini shiro noir, and sandwhiches (that taste like a pizza).
Every food there was very delicious.
Too bad we only ate once in this trip.

Inside Komeda's Coffee atre 2 Akihabara.

We ate at Komeda's Coffee until we're full.
Then, went to Asakusa Sensou-ji.
We had two hours there, mostly in the Maccha House Asakusa.
That was my wishlist from Nov 2025, when I was in Kyoto.
I wanted to try Maccha House, and now there is a store in Sensou-ji.
After that, we tried the omikuji (fortune telling).
I was surprised the omikuji now had to be transferred through QR Code.
We always pay with QR in Indonesia, so we didn't have problem with that.
Anyways, I had bad fortune, while my sister and mom had good fortunes.
Being left alone is sad.

Maccha House Asakusa.

After going to Asakusa, the next part would be to purchase souvenirs for my friends.
We bought a few of our belongings at Donki Akihabara.
It was raining a lot, but we still went there.
I think it was about 2km from our hotel to the nearest Donki.
We went back at the hotel around 10PM!

And there was another, biggest earthquake at 10.30 PM!!!
My mom was taking a bath that time.
The core was from Mt. Fuji, and it was the biggest earthquake I had in my life.
I was afraid and opened up our room's door, but there was none outside.
I opened up more, still there was no people, so I closed it again.
I think I opened the door thrice that time. but still no people and they're calm.
So the earthquake stopped and I didn't open the door anymore.
That night, I spent my night watching English news about the earthquake until I slept...

There was this notif at my phone.

Day 6 June 27, 2026

Today was supposed to be typhoon day.
But only raining a bit.
So we brought our lunch near hotel and my sister only bought things for her friends.
Then, we played games at GiGo Akihabara.
I got so many oysters and Mezzo Piano x Hello Kitty.

That's all I got.
My sister didn't get anything though.
I wanted to get Jinshi & Maomao's plushie from Kusuriya no Hitorigoto.
But I couldn't catch any.

  The dinner is Sushiro again.

We spent a plentiful day at Akihabara, especially Uniqlo's Yodobashi.
We purchased quite a lot of clothes.
And there was a sale, where a clothes is only 590 yen!
Such a great sale.
So I also purchased a UV protection cardigan.
In my country, the price is still around 3,490yen, but it's only 1,990yen in Japan.
After that, we went back at the hotel again.

Day 7 June 28, 2026

Lunch was Saizeriya.
There was a few requests from my sister's friends.
So we went back to Uniqlo's Yodobashi Akiba and brought a few more clothes.
There was so much request to buy the 590 yen clothes.

Yes I ate two portions of Saizeriya pasta & pizza.
But I gave some of pizza to my sister & mom.

Then, we went to Sushiro again for dinner.
I helped my sister collecting all ZZZ's 5 figurines.
And she got what she wanted.
Then, we went around Akihabara, such as Radio Kaikan, Animate, etc.
We only spent two days strolling around Akihabara because there was raining a lot.

Day 8 June 29, 2026

The day for our departure.
The three of us went on Yamanote line to Shinagawa early around 7 AM.
Then, we arrived around 8.15 AM at the Haneda Terminal 3 airport.
We checked in our baggage around 9 AM, and finally went back to Indonesia.
There were only a few people riding the plane with us.
Maybe that's why we got a problem online check-in two days ago.
Only around half the plane was booked.

Overall, our trip was short this time.
It was also a bad trip, since we had three earthquakes in two days, two typhoons reaching out.
But thankfully, our flights were a good one.
There was no problem riding a plane at all.
And we arrived smoothly in Indonesia, without problem at the baggage claim.
June 30, I was still sleeping a lot and watching a few animes leftover,
Tongari Boushi no Atelier and Shunkashuutou Daikousha Haru no Mai endings.
Back to work at July 1st.
